Tips for freelancers

Always include your tax ID on invoices

Even if you're not VAT registered yet, your registration number adds legitimacy. Clients in the EU often require it for their own accounting.

Set net-30 terms by default

Net-30 (pay within 30 days) is the professional standard. Shorter is better, but net-30 gets you taken seriously. Mark due dates clearly on every invoice.

Duplicate recurring invoices

If you invoice the same client monthly, use the Duplicate feature. Change the date and number โ€” done in 10 seconds.

Log your expenses the same day

Memory is unreliable. Log every business expense as an incoming invoice in OPSKAP on the day you pay it. Your P&L will thank you.
